Men’s Health

Men experience a range of health conditions and symptoms differently to women. Often men will let things go, such as seeing health professionals for check up and treatment. The statistics don’t lie, men are more likely to be overweight and are at an increased risk of heart attack and diabetes. There are some other health issues that disproportionately affect men compared to women, such as mental health, heart disease and certain cancers.

Why is exercise important?

Exercise can play a role in reducing the risk factors that are associated with chronic conditions such as:

  • Reducing cholesterol levels
  • Reduced depression and anxiety symptoms
  • Reduces the risk of developing certain cancers
  • Reduces blood pressure
