Gemma Bettess

Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Gemma is an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist who completed her Master of Exercise Physiology at La Trobe University.

She is passionate about actively helping people of all ages and abilities through targeted exercise prescription and education, from young athletes to those with chronic health conditions.

Gemma believes in a patient-centred approach to improving her client’s overall wellbeing and exercise capacity.

Gemma has a specific interest in assisting patients with safe and specific exercises to address diagnoses of diabetes, osteoporosis or osteopenia, cardiovascular diseases and neurological conditions.

Gemma has experience with, and enjoys helping clients with cardiac, neurological and metabolic conditions in private practice, a public hospital and community health.

In her spare time, Gemma enjoys walking her cavoodle, working as a trainer for South Croydon Football Club, spending time with friends and family and playing netball.
